Soon the commercial space tourism will become the reality.

The astronaut interaction with spacecraft has changed a lot over the period of time. Enhanced technology and AI implementation reduced human interventions with the machine by limiting it to only essential tasks. Similar evidence we saw where NASA astronaut Douglas G. Hurley and Robert L. Behnken controlling SpaceX Crew Dragon with a touchscreen system.

There is no mechanical switches or controls in the spacecraft (except one for abort sequence), which helps in creating more space to accommodate more astronaut. In total Crew Dragon can accommodate 7 astronauts in its compact design. This super complicated machine has intuitive UI design which helps the astronauts to take full control of the spacecraft with ease.

90% of this flight is autonomous which means now the role of crew has changed as passengers. The crew took the manual control at the very end when they had to dock the Crew Dragon with ISS. The journey is started, hope to see a similar design in commercial aircraft.
